Fishing Industry

Maximum resistance to moisture preserving hygiene in each rotation.

The fishing business is a traditional user of plastic pallets due mainly to the hygiene conditions required, and the particular conditions of the working environment. Fishing is considered a fast moving product and therefore, both pallets and boxes used in logistics operations have a high number of re-uses which contributes to the plastic pallet demonstrating its innumerable benefits.

In the logistic activities of the fishing sector, many of the operations take place in environments with large amounts of water and high humidity. Our plastic pallets are the ideal solution for these environments because they are waterproof, and unlike traditional wooden pallets, they do not vary in size, weight or shape in contact with water. Likewise, our pallets can be washed after use avoiding bad odors and / or the presence of bacteria or parasites that could produce an accidental contamination.

Fundamentally, two types of pallets are used in the fishing industry depending on the logistic use:

  • Our customers in this sector choose our pallets from the SMART range for those logistic operations when they transport the output of the day in plastic boxes between the processing  and distribution centers, making the most of the advantages of our pallets in the reduction of space once empty without losing functionality when being loaded. In those occasions where empty space is not a problem, our customers opt for the LOGIC range, which offers the best value for money.
  • In many cases, the product is exported to other countries where our pallets in the BASIC range are the most advisable option to avoid annoying export procedures as well as possible customs retentions, as they do not require NIMF-15 certification.
